~Silk Road Trip - Urumqi（烏魯木齊）~
Urumqi is a city of the Xinjiang（新疆）province of China. Urumqi has a population of 2.1 million, with Uigur people dominating most of the population. Urumqi has been famous for its unique Uigur customs (e.g. dances, food etc.)

This was a local school (forgot the name...) that I went to during my stay at Urumqi. I was fortunate enough to see the grand flag rising ceremony in the school. Almost all students of the school are Uigur.
